Role Overview

As a School-Based BCBA at CAS, you'll serve as a key clinical partner to students, educators, and school teams. You'll design and oversee behavioral programming, support IEP teams, and collaborate closely with instructional staff to promote meaningful, sustainable outcomes for students.

This role is ideal for BCBAs who enjoy collaborative environments, value flexibility, and want to make a direct impact within educational systems.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Utilize a range of assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, SSIS) to identify strengths and learning needs
  • Collect, analyze, and apply behavioral data to guide decision-making and monitor progress
  • Ensure fidelity of implementation through ongoing data review and program adjustments
  • Coach and model evidence-based behavioral strategies for teachers, instructional assistants, and support staff
  • Provide supervision and support to ABA Instructors, RBTs, and Behavior Technicians in school settings
  • Collaborate with special education teams, administrators, and families to support generalization and long-term success
  • Serve as a consultant to IEP teams, contributing to student-centered behavioral programming
  • Deliver professional development sessions, workshops, and classroom-based trainings
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation aligned with district and regulatory standards
  • Implement proactive behavior support and crisis prevention strategies
  • Provide in-the-moment guidance and debriefing during behavioral escalation

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
  • Current BCBA certification in good standing
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience providing ABA services in school-based or educational settings
  • Experience conducting FBAs, writing BIPs, and supervising clinical staff
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with school personnel and families
  • Commitment to ethical, compassionate, student-centered care
