Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your dedication will help foster positive behavior change, improve daily living skills, and promote independence for those you serve. Duties

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors and progress to ensure effective treatment adjustments.
  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, feeding, and other essential self-care tasks.
  • Support teaching strategies in special education settings, promoting skill acquisition and behavioral management.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with supervisors and team members to ensure consistency in behavioral interventions and client progress.
  • Foster a positive, engaging environment that encourages learning, growth, and emotional well-being for each individual.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including ABA and behavior management strategies.
  • Familiarity with data collection methods and medical terminology related to behavioral health is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions carefully while demonstrating patience and empathy in all interactions.
  • Experience in special education or patient care settings is a plus but not mandatory; a passion for helping others is essential.
