Responsibilities

• Transcribe detailed clinical notes during psychiatric evaluations, therapy sessions, and follow-up visits with precision and clarity
• Assist psychiatrists by documenting patient histories, symptoms, diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication management in real-time using EHR systems
• Manage and update medical records accurately, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and organizational standards
• Support the clinical team by preparing documentation for billing, coding, and reporting purposes
• Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems efficiently to retrieve and input patient information swiftly
• Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and psychiatric procedures to ensure accurate documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify notes or gather additional information when necessary

Qualifications

• Prior experience in medical office settings or as a medical scribe is highly preferred
• Strong transcription skills with excellent typing speed and accuracy
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems used in healthcare environments
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and psychiatric procedures
• Experience with medical documentation standards and record management practices
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced clinical environment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Excellent Organizational Skills
• Reliability

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
