AlliedTravelCareers is working with United Health Care Staffing to find a qualified LMSW in Everett, Washington, 98201!Travel LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker)Location: Everett, WA 98201Pay: $1800/weekShift: Days | 5x8s (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)Duration: 12 Weeks (ASAP Start)Join a Leading Level II Trauma CenterBe part of a dynamic care team providing critical care coordination and discharge planning across a large, multi-campus acute care hospital.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with strong acute care and case management experience. This role focuses on patient advocacy, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary coordination to ensure safe and effective transitions of care.Required QualificationsActive Washington State LMSW License – RequiredBLS Certification (AHA) – RequiredMinimum 1 year of acute care experienceExperience in discharge planning & care coordinationFirst-time travelers acceptedKey ResponsibilitiesConduct biopsychosocial assessments and initial patient evaluationsDevelop and implement discharge plans and care coordination strategiesCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teamsCoordinate home care services, DME, rehab, and long-term care placementsProvide patient and family education on available resourcesFacilitate referrals to community programs (Medicaid, Medicare, transportation, medication assistance)Ensure proper documentation in EPIC EMRAddress high-risk cases, patient safety, and vulnerability concernsClinical Areas CoveredMedical-SurgicalEmergency Department (ED)ICUL&D / Mother-BabyNICUKey Skills & KnowledgeDischarge Planning & Utilization ReviewAdvance Directives & GuardianshipKnowledge of Adult Protective Services & Power of AttorneyCultural competency and communication with diverse populationsStrong understanding of community resources and support systemsSchedule & Work EnvironmentSchedule: 5x8 hour day shiftsWeekend Requirement: Every other weekendFloating: Yes (between Colby & Pacific campuses – within 2 miles)Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeksCharting: EPICScrubs: Any color (no reddish-orange)Parking: Facility paid✨ If you’re a compassionate LMSW with acute care experience looking to make a real impact in patient transitions—apply today!
