Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at Intellistars ABA. As an RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients, primarily focusing on children with developmental disabilities. This role is crucial in supporting clients in achieving their behavioral goals and improving their overall quality of life.

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA

  • Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals

  • Assist in developing care plans tailored to individual needs

  • Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and interventions

  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations

  • Collaborate with other professionals involved in the client's care to ensure a cohesive approach

  • Provide support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and encouraging environment for clients

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy

Skills:

  • Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices

  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical documentation

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children

  • Strong data collection skills to monitor client progress effectively

  • Ability to educate clients and families about behavior management techniques

  • Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed medical records and care plans

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with team members and families

  • A passion for helping others improve their lives through effective behavioral therapy

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Weekends as needed

Willingness to Travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
