  • Implement specialized interventions for clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, addiction issues, and Alzheimer’s or Geriatric care.
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and promote positive behavioral change.
  • Coordinate care through case management activities, including community resource linkage and home visits when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.
  • Participate in clinical research projects related to mental health or behavioral health outcomes; contribute to data collection and analysis efforts.
  • Provide crisis intervention and crisis management support for clients experiencing acute mental health episodes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including physicians, nurses, educators, and social service agencies—to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Document all patient interactions thoroughly with attention to CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and ICD-10 standards for billing purposes.

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program; current licensure as an LMSW or LCSW required.
  • Proven experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, or behavioral health settings—preferably within hospital or community-based environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise working with children, adolescents, or geriatrics; experience with special education or working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and data collection; knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health is essential.
  • Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations using ICD codes (ICD-9/ICD-10) and CPT coding for billing purposes.
  • Background in crisis intervention, addiction counseling, trauma-informed care—including PTSD—and working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of psychopharmacology principles relevant to mental health treatment plans is a plus. Join us if you’re eager to empower individuals through compassionate clinical practice while advancing your career in a supportive environment dedicated to excellence in mental health services!
