MindLift Alliance is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and professional Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC Associate) to join our growing practice in Texas.

MindLift Alliance is dedicated to helping individuals, couples, teens, children, and families heal and grow through compassionate therapy, meaningful education, and human connection. Founded in 2021, the organization addresses gaps in mental health services, providing specialized care for clients in North Texas, alongside services for others managing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, and relationship challenges. Based in McKinney, TX, MindLift Alliance serves clients in person across McKinney, Plano, Frisco, Allen, and Prosper, as well as statewide via telehealth. The team also offers court-ordered programs and professional development courses for counseling professionals. They aim to create a supportive space where each individual truly feels heard and valued.


Role Description

This is a contract, on-site Counselor/Therapist role based in Mckinney, TX. The Counselor/Therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy, with a focus on treating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, and relationship challenges. Responsibilities also include creating and implementing personalized treatment plans, maintaining accurate and timely client records, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The role demands empathy, cultural competence, and a commitment to delivering quality care with dignity and respect.


Qualifications

  • Clinical skills in individual, couples, family, and group therapy, with expertise in addressing conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD.
  • Strong treatment planning, documentation, and case management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills to foster trust and understanding with clients.
  • Cultural competence, particularly in providing care to diverse populations, including Chinese-speaking or Asian communities, is highly desirable.
  • Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, related field with valid licensure in the State of Texas .
  • Experience delivering therapy through culturally responsive practices and knowledge of telehealth is a plus.
