Job SummaryNorth Texas Job Corps Center is seeking a licensed mental health professional (LCSW or Licensed Psychologist – PhD/PsyD) to provide clinical services to students ages 16–24. This position focuses on assessment, crisis intervention, and brief therapy for young adults with complex and often trauma-related histories who are actively working toward positive life changes.This is a 1099 independent contractor position working in collaboration with the on-site psychologist.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesConduct clinical interviews and diagnostic assessmentsProvide crisis intervention and stabilization servicesDeliver brief, solution-focused psychotherapyMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationCollaborate with center staff, instructors, and leadershipProvide mental health training for staff as neededCoordinate referrals and connect students to community resourcesOpportunities for longer-term therapy may be available depending on caseload.Minimum QualificationsActive Texas license as an LCSW or Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD)Minimum of 2 years' experience working with adolescents and/or young adults (ages 16–24)Strong clinical, diagnostic, and written communication skillsExperience with trauma-informed carePreferred QualificationsExperience in residential, school-based, or community mental health settingsFamiliarity with North Texas community mental health resourcesAbout the CenterNorth Texas Job Corps Center serves up to 550 students enrolled in career technical training programs.
