SC General Labor I

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. This position primarily involves grinding and preparing containers for repair, along with assisting in various shop and yard labor tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, and comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grind containers and metal surfaces to prepare for repairs and welding 
• Assist with container repairs, including patching, cleaning, and material handling 
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively 
• Maintain a clean and organized work area 
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies 
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned 

• Previous experience in general labor, construction, or metal work preferred (but not required) 
• Ability to operate grinders and basic hand tools 
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods 
• Strong work ethic and reliability 
• Ability to work in a team environment 
• Willingness to learn and take direction 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with metal or in a repair/shop environment 
• Familiarity with safety practices related to grinding and equipment use
