Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role for an Independent Consultant Psychologist located in Summerville, SC. The Consultant Psychologist will provide behavioral health support, conduct on-site crisis interventions, and facilitate group or one-on-one psychological services to address workplace disruptions. Responsibilities include performing assessments, delivering psychological first aid, and advising leadership on strategies to foster resilience and recovery. The consultant will also help employees navigate stressors, maintain well-being, and promote positive outcomes after challenging events.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in psychological assessment, counseling, and trauma-informed interventions
- Expertise in crisis intervention, workplace mental health, and psychological first aid
- Experience in behavioral health, providing one-on-one and group sessions
- Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in on-site environments with professionalism and empathy
- Doctoral or master’s degree in Psychology or a related field, with relevant licensure or certification
- Experience supporting workplace or organizational crises is preferred
- Flexibility to travel within the Summerville, SC area as needed
