Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in applied behavior analysis and have extensive experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. As a BCBA, you will develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, conduct assessments, and provide supervision to behavioral therapists. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering evidence-based interventions that promote meaningful progress and improve quality of life for clients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- Design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans grounded in applied behavior analysis principles.
- Provide supervision, training, and mentorship to behavior technicians and other clinical staff to ensure fidelity of treatment delivery.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to measure client progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate consistent implementation of treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA standards for patient privacy and medical documentation requirements.
- Maintain accurate medical records, intake documentation, and progress notes in accordance with organizational policies.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in behavioral health, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and best practices.
Skills
- Expertise in behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis methodologies.
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to inform clinical decision-making.
- Knowledge of special education practices relevant to behavioral health interventions.
- Ability to perform patient assessments and conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients’ families, team members, and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and professionalism when working with diverse populations facing complex challenges. Pay: $88,803.54 - $105,000.00 per year
