Start Date: Flexible Location : Indianapolis IN, South Bend, IN (community based) -- Fort Wayne, IN (partially clinic based)
Hours: Full Time - Mon-Fri , Therapist selects per day client #
In Session Hours per week: 16 hours - 19 hours (therapist selects)
Salary: Salary based on chosen in session hours - $45,000-$54,000 - Full time hours upon start
Overview: Mainstay Music Therapy is seeking board-certified music therapists who approach their work thoughtfully, reflect on their clinical practice, and are open to continued growth within a supportive, therapist-led team. Certifications: Applicants must be board-certified music therapists or will have passed their board certification exam prior to start date.
Description: Mainstay Music Therapy, Inc. is a private practice serving a variety of contracts in both clients’ homes and facility-based settings. Clinical work is primarily 1:1, with occasional opportunities for small group sessions depending on contract needs and therapist interest. In this role, you’ll provide your own transportation and be responsible for tracking billable time and clinical documentation, with systems, templates, and supervision support in place to make these responsibilities manageable and sustainable. We’ve intentionally structured caseload expectations to support high-quality care while leaving space for preparation, reflection, and long-term clinician well-being.
