Job Summary
Join a dynamic and supportive group practice as a Licensed Therapist (LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC) and make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives! Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately document client conditions.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management techniques to ensure client safety and stability.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with client needs and clinical best practices while maintaining HIPAA compliance for all medical documentation and records.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts, including coordination with medical professionals regarding psychopharmacology or inpatient care when necessary.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote counseling sessions, expanding access to mental health services.
  • Maintain detailed records of patient care, assessments, progress notes, and medical records using appropriate medical terminology and CPT coding for billing purposes.
  • Engage in clinical research or data collection initiatives to improve service quality and contribute to the broader mental health community.

Skills

  • Proven experience in psychotherapy across diverse populations including children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders.
  • Strong knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques and behavior management strategies.
  • Expertise in crisis management, PTSD care, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and working with individuals with autism or chronic pain conditions.
  • Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology related to behavioral health.
  • Ability to conduct intake assessments effectively while managing patient care in outpatient or inpatient settings.
  • Experience delivering services via telehealth platforms with an understanding of HIPAA regulations governing patient privacy.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging clients in individual or group therapy sessions within a supportive environment.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and working with children in pediatric or school-based settings is a plus.
