Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)/LPCC, PhD, PsyD, MFT, IMFT, LSW, LISW

Join our team: ALO Family Counseling has an opening for a counselor to join a growing practice. In April 2026 we expanded for a second time, to better meet the needs of the community, ALO Family Counseling moved to our new location on the north end of Wadsworth in January 2024. ALO Family Counseling strives to help individuals, families, couples, and communities meet their mental health needs. The position offers ample flexibility in order to offer a healthy work life balance. We have positions with either full-time or part time hours with flexibility to create your own schedule/hours. As a Counselor, your duties include

• Conduct psychotherapy therapy sessions & diagnostic assessments
• Complete required documentation including therapeutic case notes & treatment plans
• Coordinate with outside agencies as needed

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in counseling or related field
• Active License in the state of Ohio
• Licenses considered are CT, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LSW, LISW, MFT, IMFT, PhD, PsyD
• Those with CT, LPC, LSW, or MFT licenses will be given opportunities to obtain supervision towards their independent license. We are offering one spot to a CT license for a paid internship opportunity.
• Strong Computer Skills preferred
