Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT)


Part Time/Non-Exempt
- Location: Clementon, Evesham, Mt. Laurel, NJ and surrounding areas. Compensation: $21.00-$26.00/per hour (Bonus Eligible)


About the Role

The Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) provides direct 1:1 support to clients by implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Behavior Specialist Consultant (BSC) or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will support clients across a variety of settings, including homes, schools, preschools, clinics, and community environments.

During training, BTs/RBTs work a dynamic schedule with exposure to multiple clients and settings. After training, permanent client assignments are provided.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support in individual and group settings
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior programs
  • Collect and submit session data accurately and on time
  • Support communication, social, and behavioral skill development
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to reduce maladaptive behaviors
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to promote positive outcomes


Work Setting

Employees may be assigned to various environments based on organizational needs, including homes, schools, preschools, clinics, and community-based settings.

Reports To

NJ State and Regional Directors

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to complete RBT training and certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children
  • Comfortable using technology for documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
  • Ability to accept and implement feedback
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and run during shifts


Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in a direct care human services role
