Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will play a vital role in delivering behavioral therapy and support services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This position involves conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing ongoing supervision and training to staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis, experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients with developmental disabilities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Collect and analyze data collection to track progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Provide patient care by delivering direct behavioral therapy sessions tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent implementation of treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct intake assessments and participate in ongoing patient assessment processes.
- Supervise and train behavior technicians, paraprofessionals, and other staff involved in client care.
- Stay current with developments in behavioral health, special education, and related fields to enhance service quality.
Requirements
- Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Proven experience in behavioral therapy, particularly working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques, behavioral health, and diagnostic evaluation methods.
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or other disabilities.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to inform treatment decisions.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and maintaining secure medical records in compliance with privacy standards (HIPAA).
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to perform patient assessments, conduct intake procedures, and deliver patient-centered care. Pay: $80,000.00 - $103,142.54 per year
