Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC-Associate, Dietian, NP Psych to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in mental health counseling or nutrition or medical management and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals and families. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, adults, and those with developmental disabilities, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The contrator will utilize various therapeutic techniques to support clients in overcoming challenges and achieving their personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality, compassionate care to children, adolescents, adults, and families
- Conduct clinical, nutritional, or psychiatric assessments within scope of licensure
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence‑based therapeutic services, counseling, nutrition support, and/or medication management as applicable
- Track client progress and adjust interventions to support treatment goals
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and agency standards
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including therapists, medical providers, and case managers
- Provide services in outpatient and/or inpatient settings, including telehealth when applicable
- Support crisis intervention, safety planning, and referrals as needed
- Demonstrate cultural competence and professionalism when working with diverse populations
- Participate in supervision (for associates), staff meetings, and ongoing professional development
The successful candidate will possess a variety of skills that may include:
- Strong clinical, therapeutic, nutritional, or medical assessment skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Knowledge of evidence‑based practices within scope of licensure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport and maintain professional therapeutic relationships
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adults, and individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and documentation skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation systems
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- Sound clinical judgment and problem‑solving abilities
- Commitment to ethical practice, client confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance
- Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and experiences
- Willingness to engage in supervision, training, and continuing education
