Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Care Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will serve as a central point of contact for residents, families, and staff, ensuring that each individual receives personalized, high-quality care. Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s unique needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
  • Oversee medication administration and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Supervise caregiving staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain exceptional resident care standards.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers, social workers, families, and community resources to optimize resident well-being.
  • Manage operational aspects such as budgeting, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to ensure smooth facility functioning.
  • Lead efforts in resident engagement activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and overall quality of life.
  • Ensure compliance with all health regulations related to assisted living, nursing home standards, and long-term care requirements.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a strong understanding of senior care and memory care practices.
  • Proven supervisory experience in group homes or retirement communities with leadership skills that inspire teams.
  • Knowledge of care planning processes for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease; familiarity with medication management.
  • Strong background in operations management, budgeting, and financial acumen within healthcare settings.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring specialized memory care services.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with residents’ families, healthcare professionals, and team members.
