Setting: Home and community‑based services
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide high‑quality behavioral support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of a BCBA, you will help implement individualized treatment plans that promote meaningful skill development and positive behavior change.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 behavior intervention in the client’s home and/or community settings.
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect accurate, ongoing data and write session note during each session.
- Support parent/caregiver education related to ABA strategies and the treatment plan.
- Collaborate professionally with supervisors, colleagues, clients, and families.
- Follow all supervisor instructions and communicate questions or concerns promptly.
- Maintain consistency, professionalism, and quality across all assigned cases.
- Adhere to agency policies, safety guidelines, and ethical standards.
- Implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity.
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with autism or intellectual/developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral intervention.
- Ability to follow treatment plans and accept ongoing supervision.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism.
- Reliable transportation to client homes and community locations.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
