Job Summary

Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to ensure effective treatment adjustments
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, feeding, and other essential self-care skills
- Support teaching sessions that promote communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors in a patient and encouraging manner
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with team members to develop and refine behavior management strategies tailored to each client’s needs
- Foster a positive, safe environment that promotes learning, growth, and emotional well-being for all clients
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and ABA methodologies is advantageous
- Experience assisting with ADLs or providing patient care in a healthcare or educational setting is beneficial
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team are essential
- A background in special education or behavioral health demonstrates your commitment to supporting diverse learning needs
