A full-time School Social Worker opportunity is available in Elmhurst, IL, serving grades 6-8 in an onsite school setting. This position involves a direct impact on students through specialized social work support, with a manageable caseload of approximately 35 students. The role is ideal for a certified social worker holding a Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct social work minutes and consultative minutes to assigned students
  • Collect and analyze data required for student progress reports
  • Complete IEP documentation for Annual Reviews as well as Initial and Reevaluation Meetings
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individual support plans
  • Maintain compliance with all school and district policies regarding student welfare and documentation

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement required
  • Experience working with middle school students (grades 6-8) preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage caseload and paperwork efficiently
  • Ability to work onsite full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM
