Job Title: Clinical Social Worker Profession: Social Services Specialty: LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: LCSW required Certifications: BLS, LCSW Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with charting system, Epic preferred - 5150/Involuntary holds experience - Knowledge of care coordination and discharge planning - Experience with psychiatric disorders and individual counseling Description: This position primarily supports adult inpatient units in a psychiatric setting. It focuses on disposition planning and individual treatment contacts. The role includes conducting brief therapy, facilitating treatment planning, and leading group sessions. The daily census includes approximately 55-65 patients. Candidates should possess skills in completing psychosocial assessments. Documentation of care delivery and patient responses is essential. Crisis intervention and patient education are key components of the role. Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team is required to ensure continuity of care. Candidates must demonstrate capability in providing support and advocacy to patients and families. Previous experience with psychiatric settings is required. The candidate should be able to manage a varied patient demographic including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, including availability on weekends. The position is structured for 8-hour day shifts.
