Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


A full-time School Social Worker position is available at a K-12 school in Mason, MI. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of approximately 48 students, providing essential social work services to support the academic, social, and emotional needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized support plans.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources to promote student well-being.
  • Advocate for students rights and access to educational and social services.
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed or certified School Social Worker with relevant credentials.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and counseling skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize interventions.
  • Familiarity with community resources and support systems.
