Social Worker | Clinton Township, Michigan

A full-time Social Worker position is available to provide essential support to K-12 students, primarily middle and high school ages, within a residential facility setting. This role involves working onsite exclusively in Clinton Township, MI, catering to male youth who are victims or offenders of sexual violence. The position requires a dedicated professional skilled in addressing complex social and emotional needs within a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive social work services to male students residing in a residential facility
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions focused on trauma related to sexual violence
• Collaborate with educational staff and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Advocate for students' well-being and facilitate access to community resources
• Maintain detailed documentation and case management records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to program development
• Ensure confidentiality and create a safe, supportive environment for all youth

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Social Work (Bachelors or Masters preferred)
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or residential setting
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, especially relating to sexual violence
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with youth and professionals
• Ability to work onsite full-time, maintaining a 35-hour workweek
