Social Worker in Holt, MI

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Social Worker position is available in Holt, MI, supporting students across grades K-12. This contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with a caseload of 48 students, providing essential social work services to support their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote student well-being.
• Provide counseling services and crisis intervention as needed.
• Facilitate referrals to community resources and external agencies.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and comply with confidentiality policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid social work licensure or certification appropriate for school settings.
• Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school environment.
• Strong knowledge of social work principles and practices within educational settings.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
