A school district in Lansing, MI, is seeking a fully approved Social Worker to provide essential support and services to students in a school setting. This contract position offers an opportunity to impact students social, emotional, and behavioral well-being while collaborating with educators and families.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive social assessments and develop individualized plans to address student needs
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and community resources to support student success
• Monitor student progress and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant policies and regulations

Qualifications:

• Fully approved School Social Worker credential
• Experience working in school environments, preferably with diverse student populations

This role is structured as a part-time contract position at three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday) with the possibility of increasing to full-time for the remainder of the current school year. The position is based in Lansing, MI.
