Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support students in grades K-8 during the 2026-2027 school year in Cottage Grove, MN. This role requires a dedicated professional who will work approximately 37.5 hours per week, managing a caseload comprised of 25-35 elementary students (K-5) and 20-30 middle school students (6-8). The assignment begins on August 31, 2026, and concludes on June 4, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide counseling services and behavioral interventions to promote student well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Assist with crisis intervention and contribute to student safety planning efforts
- Manage caseload effectively in one building setting
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license is required
- Experience working with elementary and middle school students
- Strong skills in behavioral intervention, counseling, and IEP development
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
This role is based primarily at Willow Lane Elementary and Central Middle School located in the White Bear Lake area, allowing a focused impact within these educational communities.
