Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with an individual with developmental disabilities, including autism, under the supervision of an BCBA, to ensure the personal assistants are following the BCBA’s evidence-based behavioral interventions. Your primary focus will be on supporting the clients growth through personalized teaching strategies, data collection, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs). Responsibilities
- Follow behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles under supervision Of a BCBA.
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform ongoing treatment strategies.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and communication skills development.
- Support clients during therapy sessions by applying behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assist the BCBA develop and update care plans tailored to client's needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
- Engage in teaching moments that foster skill acquisition and independence in for this client with developmental disabilities.
Experience
- 2 years + prior experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities ia required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA) Is needed.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medication records management, and documentation standards related to behavioral health is a plus.
- Strong skills in data collection, behavior management, and client personal care are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team within a home of a client, with input from the client, clients BCBA, RN, MD & conservator in regards to the client maintaining a safe, healthy, clean home environment that fosters clients independence while supporting him in his goals and activities of daily life as well as community engagement.

Pay: Up to $47.00 per hour
