A part-time Social Worker role is available in Henderson, CO, specifically designed for candidates holding a valid Colorado School Social Worker (SSW) license. The position offers 20 hours per week (.5 FTE) on a contract basis, with a focus on providing vital support within the school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage 504 Plan casework, including conducting meetings, performing evaluations, and updating plans to meet student needs efficiently.
  • Deliver mental health counseling services to students identified under 504 plans as well as at-risk and general education populations.
  • Assist in conducting suicide and risk assessments, threat evaluations, and participate actively in crisis intervention efforts.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote a safe and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Colorado School Social Worker license (required).
  • Proven experience in school-based social work, particularly with 504 Plan coordination and mental health counseling.
  • Strong skills in crisis intervention and risk assessment.
  • Ability to work effectively on a part-time schedule, managing a diverse student caseload.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
