Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and other professionals to provide high-quality care.

Duties

  • Conduct FBAs to assess the needs of clients and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions using applied behavior analysis techniques.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Provide training and support to staff on behavior management strategies and best practices.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of behavior analysis and participate in ongoing professional development.


Experience

  • Proven experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of patient care principles, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation processes.
  • Familiarity with data collection methods and the ability to analyze behavioral data effectively.
  • Experience working with children is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in practice.
