School Psychologist in Woodbridge, VA

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract opportunity calls for a qualified School Psychologist to provide on-site support at a middle school in Woodbridge, VA. The position is available for an immediate start and will continue through the end of the school year. Candidates with prior experience working with middle or high school students are preferred, though part-time applicants will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
• Develop and implement intervention plans addressing academic, social, and emotional challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
• Provide crisis intervention and mental health support when necessary

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (active and current)
• Prior experience in a middle school or high school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of school-based psychological services and student populations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Availability to work on-site full-time in Woodbridge, VA
