True Life Center seeking a postdoctoral fellow to join our clinical team and work within our IOP/PHP mental health program. This role includes the provision of individual and group psychotherapy and participation in psychodiagnostic assessments. Additional opportunities exist for qualified candidates to contribute to clinical outcomes oversight, data collection, and research initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches aligned with True Life Center’s clinical model
- Deliver care across IOP and PHP levels, supporting diagnostic clarity and treatment interventions and outcomes
Assessment & Testing
- Conduct psychodiagnostic evaluations and psychological assessments
- Learn and conduct sessions of biofeedback and/or psychobiological assessments
Supervision & Mentorship
- Provide clinical support and mentorship to pre-doctoral practicum students
- Participate in supervision, mentoring and training activities
Clinical Outcomes & Research
- Contribute to outcome data collection, program evaluation, and research initiatives and protocols

Clinical care is delivered within an Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) program, using an interdisciplinary and outcomes-informed approach heavily informed by the neurobiology of attachment. True Life Center’s treatment model emphasizes comprehensive assessment, etiological clarity, and individualized care planning within a collaborative clinical environment.Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology, preferably from an APA-accredited program
- Active, unrestricted Psychologist license in the state of California
- Demonstrated experience in psychodiagnostic testing and assessment
- Strong communication, organizational, and professional leadership skills
- Prior experience with clinical outcomes measurement and research protocols preferred
