True Blue Behavioral Health, LLC is seeking an experienced, licensed doctoral-level psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to conduct 53 police psychological assessments. These evaluations support fitness/suitability determinations related to armed law enforcement duties and must align with guidance for personnel evaluations (non-therapeutic).
This is a high-accountability, fast-turn engagement for psychologists who are confident in structured occupational/forensic workflow and can meet firm production and documentation standards.
What You’ll Do
You will complete evaluations that include:
- Reviewing and obtaining a required Authorization/Consent
- Conducting a standardized, consistent individual interview mapped to California POST screening dimensions

- Producing an integrated written recommendation report (templates provided; minimal disclosure, functional focus)
- Submitting final reports securely and on time for transmission to the VA Agency Medical Officer
Note: These are occupational/personnel evaluations, not therapy.
Productivity & Deadlines
- Expected production: 2 completed assessments per on-site day
- Quality cap: maximum 3 per day
- Report submission deadline: within 24 hours of the evaluation (internal standard to maintain VA schedule)

- Scheduling is coordinated to accommodate officer shift schedules
- Must be available to start March 2026 (immediate scheduling upon hire)
Required Qualifications
