Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will work closely with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your role is crucial in providing direct support to clients, promoting skill acquisition, and reducing problem behaviors through applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Follow and implement behavior intervention plans developed by BCBAs to address clients' specific behavioral goals and objectives.
- Provide Direct Client Support: Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients in various settings, including homes, schools, clinics, and community settings.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Accurately collect data on client progress during therapy sessions using designated data collection methods. Analyze and report data to BCBAs for ongoing assessment and treatment plan adjustments.
- Behavioral Skill Training: Assist clients in acquiring and mastering essential life skills, communication skills, social skills, and adaptive behaviors through structured teaching methods.
- Behavioral Crisis Management: Utilize crisis management techniques and de-escalation strategies to address challenging behaviors effectively and ensure the safety of clients and others.
- Collaboration and Communication: Maintain open communication with BCBAs, parents, caregivers, and other team members regarding client progress, concerns, and recommended strategies.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress, interventions, and observations. Prepare progress reports, session notes, and other documentation as required by regulatory agencies and funding sources.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and supervision sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Schedule:
Flexible schedules available, including Monday to Friday or weekend shifts.
