Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic support and interventions to individuals and families, focusing on mental health and social well-being. This role involves working closely with clients, assessing their needs, and developing tailored treatment plans to enhance their quality of life. The LCSW will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with developmental disabilities and autism.
- Educate clients and families about mental health issues, coping strategies, and available resources.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Stay informed about current trends in psychopharmacology and integrate this knowledge into practice when applicable.
- Engage in community outreach efforts to promote awareness of mental health services available for children and families.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to mental health care.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities or autism.
- Strong patient assessment skills to effectively evaluate client needs.
- Knowledge of special education resources and how they intersect with mental health services.
- Ability to provide home community care as part of a holistic treatment approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills for managing case documentation and treatment planning efficiently.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour
