A school district in Chicago, IL is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a contract position starting August 26, 2024, through June 10, 2025. This role supports an elementary building with a student population of approximately 380 and operates Monday through Friday from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM, following the school calendar.
In this position, you will collaborate as a key team member conducting initial evaluations and re-evaluations for special education eligibility. Your expertise will also be essential in reviewing data for students participating in the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and providing crisis support. While this role does not involve holding IEP therapy minutes or conducting direct therapy sessions, it will offer valuable experience in multidisciplinary collaboration and student assessment. Additional responsibilities include supporting parochial school evaluations under the guidance of the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed or certified School Psychologist credential
