Overview
Join our dedicated team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Duties

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to promote positive behaviors and skill development
  • Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective outcomes
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and feeding to support independence
  • Support clients during therapy sessions, educational activities, and social interactions to encourage engagement and learning
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and update behavior management strategies tailored to each individual’s needs
  • Foster a safe, respectful environment that promotes trust and motivation for clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some experience or coursework in behavioral therapy, special education, or related fields is preferred
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is highly desirable
  • Ability to assist with ADLs and support patient care in a compassionate manner
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and confidentiality standards such as HIPAA
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and team members
  • Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within specified timeframes

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
