Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to promote positive behaviors and skill development
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective outcomes
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and feeding to support independence
- Support clients during therapy sessions, educational activities, and social interactions to encourage engagement and learning
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with team members to develop and update behavior management strategies tailored to each individual’s needs
- Foster a safe, respectful environment that promotes trust and motivation for clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; some experience or coursework in behavioral therapy, special education, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is highly desirable
- Ability to assist with ADLs and support patient care in a compassionate manner
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and confidentiality standards such as HIPAA
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and team members
- Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within specified timeframes

Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
