Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals, particularly children, who have developmental disabilities, including autism. You will be responsible for implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and collecting data to track progress. Your expertise in applied behavior analysis will be essential in providing quality care and support to our clients.

Duties

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Assist with developing, monitoring and updating individualized treatment plans and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Conduct patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral needs.
  • Collect and analyze data on client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide training and support to staff regarding behavioral therapy techniques and interventions.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in applied behavior analysis and special education.

Requirements

  • Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst certification is required.
  • Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, and documentation practices.
  • Ability to perform patient care tasks while ensuring the dignity and respect of clients.
  • Experience in data collection methods relevant to behavioral health assessments.
  • Understanding of special education practices and working with people with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
