School-Based Social Worker - Caledonia, Michigan

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Caledonia, MI, is seeking a qualified social worker to support elementary students from kindergarten through 4th grade. This contract position is available immediately and will continue for the remainder of the school year.

The ideal candidate will hold a Masters degree in Social Work along with the appropriate licensure. Experience working with children diagnosed with autism or related developmental disorders is highly preferred. This position involves managing a caseload of approximately 50 students within a supportive elementary school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group social work services to students in grades K-4
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention plans
• Address social, emotional, and behavioral needs to support students academic success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Assist with referrals and connections to community resources as needed

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work with current licensure
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with autism or similar needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students
