Seeking a full-time social worker to support K-8 students in a school setting in Ann Arbor, MI. This contract position is ideal for professionals experienced in providing social work services within educational environments, focusing on the unique needs of children and families in a K-8 school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide counseling to students K-8 to support their emotional, social, and academic development
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive interventions and plans
  • Address barriers to learning such as family issues, mental health concerns, and social challenges
  • Facilitate group and individual sessions related to social skills, conflict resolution, and crisis intervention
  • Connect students and families with community resources and support services
  • Maintain accurate and confidential case records and documentation
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and monitor student progress

  • Licensed or eligible social worker with experience in school-based social work
