Experteer Overview You join a teaching hospital within Catholic Health to provide prenatal, pediatric and cancer genetic counseling. You will collect and interpret family histories, assess disease risk, and educate patients on genetics, testing options, and prevention strategies. You will maintain active follow-up and communicate with referring physicians. There is scope to supervise students and train other healthcare professionals. This role combines patient care with education in a mission-driven, quality-focused environment. Compensation / Benefits • Provide prenatal/preconception, pediatric and cancer genetic counseling • Collect and interpret family and medical histories and assess disease risk • Educate patients on genetics, inheritance, natural history, testing, and management options • Perform patient follow-up and communicate with referring physicians • Supervise and educate genetic counseling students, residents, nurses, physicians, and other providers Tasks • Master's degree in Genetic Counseling from ABGC-accredited program • Board Certified or Board Eligible by ABGC or ACMG • Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred • Experience in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Progeny and Computer Based Risk Assessment Models • Spanish speaking preferred Key requirements • generous benefits packages • generous tuition assistance • defined benefit pension plan • culture that supports professional and educational growth
