A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support elementary-aged students in an engaging educational environment. This contract position offers a full-time schedule, providing comprehensive psychological services crucial for student development and well-being.

Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Job Type: Contract (CSY)
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
Age Group: Elementary School

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to identify student needs and develop intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive educational strategies
  • Provide counseling and support services to students to promote positive academic and social outcomes
  • Participate in school-based team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with legal and ethical standards

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children is highly desirable
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills in a school setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
