Substance Abuse Counselor

Job duties as a substance abuse counselor may include but not limited, to provide counseling and support to individuals struggling with alcohol or drug addiction, helping them work toward recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess clients and identify treatment needs
• Create and follow treatment plans
• Provide individual and group counseling
• Teach coping and relapse prevention skills
• Track client progress and keep accurate client records on EHR
• Refer clients to community resources
• Follow ethical and confidentiality standards

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
