Experteer Overview In this role you will provide clinical psychology services in the CDPC Outpatient Clinic as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will conduct individual therapy, facilitate group therapies, and perform comprehensive psychological assessments to support treatment planning. You will supervise practicum students and interns, contributing to evidence-based care and program mentorship. The position supports underserved populations and aims to reduce disparities in access and quality of treatment. This is a mission-driven opportunity at a Joint Commission accredited OMH facility with room to grow professionally. Compensation / Benefits • Conduct individual therapy across a range of symptoms and diagnoses • Facilitate group therapies (DBT, CBT for psychosis, Cognitive Remediation) • Perform comprehensive psychological and risk assessments • Maintain thorough records and documentation • Provide supervision and mentorship to doctoral practicum students and interns • Consult on behavioral plans and integrate psychological reports into treatment planning Tasks • Licensed and currently registered to practice Psychology in New York State (NY HELPS) or eligible list/transfer as specified • One year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service or current eligibility for transfer under Civil Service Law (Section 70.1) • Eligibility for appointment through NYS Examinations process (NYS-APP) • Background checks may be required Key requirements • NYS medical, dental, & vision insurance • tuition assistance programs • advancement opportunities • paid time off: vacation, personal days, holidays, sick leave • NYS Retirement programs
