Kids First Early Intervention is seeking per-diem Social Workers to provide direct services to children from birth to 3-years-old, through the NYC Early Intervention Program.
Location: Queens, Bronx, Manhattan, & Westchester
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates for the Early Intervention Social Work position must be certified in any of the following areas:
- Social Workers (LMSW) or (LCSW)
- Special Education Teachers, Birth through 2nd grade- Initial or permanent
- Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH)- Provisional or Permanent
- Teacher for Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)- Initial or Professional
- Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)
- Certified Behavior Analyst Assistant (CBAA)
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities and Duties of Early Intervention Social Workers LMSW / LCSW:
- Provide 1:1 instruction consistent with best practice in ABA therapy
- Daily data collection
- Implement behavior intervention plans
- Collaboration with parents and other Early Intervention providers
