Achievement Behavior Services (ABS) is seeking dedicated and compassionate ABA Behavior Technicians to work 1:1 with children and young adults on the Autism Spectrum in the Staten Island area. Since 2015, our agency has focused on providing individualized, in-home ABA services that help learners gain communication, social, and daily living skills with confidence.

About the Position

As a Behavior Technician, you will:

  • Work directly with one student in their home environment

  • Implement an individualized Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) created by a BCBA

  • Use structured and play-based learning to support meaningful skill development

  • Collect data and record session notes daily

  • Collaborate with the supervising BCBA and family

This is a great role for individuals planning careers in ABA, psychology, special education, speech therapy, occupational therapy, or human services.

Ideal Background

  • Experience working with children or individuals with special needs

  • Coursework or interest in ABA, psychology, education, or human services (not required, but a plus)

  • CPR/First Aid, Mandated Reporter Training, Crisis Prevention, or RBT certification are beneficial but not required

  • Fridays (all day)

  • Saturdays 3:00 PM – 6:00/7:00 PM

  • Sundays after church

  • Weekdays after 6:00 PM (except Wednesday)

10310 – 5-year-old male

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

  • 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM OR 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

10312 – 11-year-old male

  • Monday – Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

  • Thursday: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

10312 – 5-year-old male

  • Monday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

10314 – 6-year-old female

  • Monday: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM

  • Tuesday: 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM

  • Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM

  • Friday: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM

  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
