Experteer Overview As the Clinical Operations Manager for BHIP, you oversee integrated mental health services across Chico and Yuba City sites, aligning with VA mission and BHIP goals. You lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure performance targets are met, and drive efficient, high-quality care for Veterans. You address operational growth, resource planning, and cross-functional collaboration to support seamless service delivery. This role offers impact at scale, shaping program strategies and improving patient safety and outcomes. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining program standards and coordinating with facility management and IT services. Compensation / Benefits • Oversee BHIP operations across sites, balancing day-to-day management with strategic growth • Lead regular treatment team meetings to ensure continuity of care • Monitor and adjust performance indicators and productivity metrics to meet program expectations • Supervise BHIP staff, address grievances, and implement performance improvement actions • Ensure proper training, safety compliance, and development of clinic availability and utilization profiles • Coordinate with facility management on safety, disaster planning, and space needs • Serve as MH liaison to Telehealth, BDMS, Clinical Informatics, and IT to optimize clinical operations • Conduct root cause analyses and manage action plans for patient safety and care issues • Utilize DSM-5-TR in assessments and coordinate referrals for medications as needed • Represent VA in professional forums and with leadership across disciplines Tasks • U.S. Citizenship • Full, current, unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) • Master's or doctoral degree in CACREP-accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling or related field • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) • Experience at least GS-12 level with advanced practice skills in program management and supervision • Ability to perform in a role requiring security/background investigation and possible travel Key requirements •
