Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to develop and implement effective behavioral interventions. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through tailored behavioral therapy and support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess the needs of clients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
- Implement and monitor behavioral interventions, ensuring they are effective and adjusted as necessary.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment decisions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to provide holistic support.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral strategies and best practices.
- Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral health and apply evidence-based practices.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism.
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to behavioral interventions.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and their application in real-world settings.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience, and understanding while working with diverse populations.
