We are seeking an experienced female Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with a 3-year-old boy diagnosed with severe Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The client is nonverbal but demonstrates strong imitation and copying skills, making this an excellent opportunity for early language and learning development.
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
- Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children
- Highly energetic, engaging, and animated
- Comfortable talking frequently and modeling language throughout the session
- Creative and playful, able to keep sessions motivating and fun
- Physically active and able to keep up with a high-energy child
- Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic about early intervention
Responsibilities Include:
- Implementing ABA programs under BCBA supervision
- Running play-based and natural environment teaching (NET) sessions
- Providing continuous verbal modeling and social interaction
- Collecting accurate data on skill acquisition and behaviors
- Collaborating with the clinical team and caregivers
Requirements:
- Current RBT certification (or in the process of obtaining)
- Prior experience with nonverbal children with ASD
- Reliability, professionalism, and a passion for helping young children learn
Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
