Job Summary
Part-time 3 month onsite contract position, responsible for providing direct clinical services; provides support to our customer’s employees/leadership regarding mental health and work-related issues, conducts EAP orientations, develops and presents mental health-related educational content, delivers CISM debriefings and training.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provides short-term EAP counseling via multiple modalities (in-person, telephone, video, chat); supports organization outreach to encourage access to counseling services
- Manages client caseload independently in terms of scheduling and communicating with clients in-between sessions as appropriate
- Tracks and documents clinical services in a professional manner
- Works closely with our customer’s Health and Wellness Benefits team to promote the program
- Consults with leadership regarding mental health and work-related issues
- Provides cross referrals to work life services as well as other benefits offered by our customer
- Provides training and Lunch-and-Learns on mental/behavioral health issues
- Participates in behavioral health awareness campaigns
- Provides management consultations and support for substance use and behavioral health issues
- Provides virtual and/or on-site critical incident debriefings
- Provides support to employees upon return to work post disability/leaves
- Participates in health fairs, enrollment and health promoting activities
Job Qualifications
- Master level licensed clinician
- At least 5 years of providing clinical services
- Clinical assessment experience in the following areas: mental health, substance use, and crisis stabilization required
- Knowledge of facilitating CISMs, training and presentations
- Sound clinical judgment
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with the employer and ComPsych leadership
- On-site EAP experience preferred
